In the beginning the team clashed with the JavaScript Interpreter in the beginning of the second semester. The set up for the Interpreter was not working and the team had to communicate with Microchip for multiple weeks before it was working properly. The majority of the project is software orientated that consisted of a lot programs in C and Python. Our team did not have a lot of experience in C and Python although, we were able to over come this issue by doing a lot of research on these two languages. The team also had to deal with porting issues. When the Interpreter was given to the team it was originally developed for a different board. This caused issues where pin assignments were wrong and wrong peripherals were declared within the Makefile. As a team we were able to tackle all these challenges by doing a lot of research and by trial and error.
